Alfredo Sauce

Do you love alfredo sauce? Me too!! Here’s a simple recipe for you!

This makes about 4-6 servings.

Notes for this recipe - I’ve also made this with sausage instead of chicken and it was delicious too! If you don’t have a block of parm, feel free to use the bottled grated kind!

Nothing beats homemade alfredo sauce, especially since it's so simple!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 (5oz) block of Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

  • 1-3 fresh basil leaves, chopped

  • 2-3 cloves minced garlic pepper to taste

Here’s how to make it

  • Melt butter completely in a large skillet.

  • Add heavy cream and heat until bubbly.

  • Add in basil and pepper.

  • Add parmesan cheese and allow to completely melt.

  • Add garlic and let simmer for a couple of minutes.

  • Lastly, add drained pasta and toss to completely coat.
