Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup

I love a classic chicken noodle soup. This one does not disappoint.

This recipe makes about 8 servings.

Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup is a classic and a must try.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced

  • 4 medium carrots, sliced

  • 4 stalks celery, sliced

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 8 cups chicken broth

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1 tsp dried rosemary

  • 8 oz egg noodles

  • handful of fresh parsley, finely chopped for garnish if desired

  • Auntie Nono’s Everything Seasoning, to taste

Here’s how to make it

  • In a large slow cooker, add the onion, carrot, celery, garlic, chicken stock, chicken breasts, bay leaves, thyme, and rosemary. Season with Auntie Nono’s to taste. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

  • Remove the chicken breasts and chop or shred with two forks. Add back into slow cooker.

  • Cook egg noodles separately and add to the slow cooker.

  • Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste and top with fresh parsley. Serve and enjoy!
