Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches

Crockpot French Dip sandwiches are the way to go! These had so much flavor and the hoagie rolls really soaked up the au jus perfectly.

This recipe makes about 4-8 servings (depending on the size of your roast).

Notes for this recipe - You can sub the soup with soup mix and the consomme with beef broth. I wouldn't skip the Dale's though. It's like the yummiest, most southern soy sauce. Also, you can add more jalapenos, and even slice them in half for more spice. You can pull them out separately and sliced them up and throw them on your sandwich!

*If you want to watch the video of this being made, this recipe starts at the 19:40 mark.

That dipping sauce, though!!

  • 1 can or bottle of beer

  • 1/4 cup of Dale's Steak Seasoning

  • 3 good sized jalapenos

  • Salt, Pepper, and Onion Powder (just your preference)

  • hoagie rolls

  • provolone cheese

Here’s how to make it

  • Throw all ingredients into slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

  • Shred meat and allow it to soak up all the flavor before serving.

  • Cut open hoagie rolls and top with provolone cheese and pop it under the broiler for a couple of minutes before making your sandwiches.

  • Spoon au jus into a dipping bowl and serve!
