Crockpot Ham and Potato Chowder

 
 

Crockpot soups make me happy. They are quick and easy to throw together and always warm you up at the end of a long day.

This recipe makes about 8 servings.

Notes for this recipe - You could freeze leftovers!

Ham and Potato Chowder is so hearty!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Diced ham

  • 3 cups Cubed potatoes

  • 1 Can of Cheddar cheese soup

  • 1 Can of cream of celery soup

  • 1 Can corn, drained

  • 1 diced onion

  • 1 diced green pepper

  • 3 - 4 cups Chicken stock(depending how thick you want it)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 cup Heavy cream

  • 2 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

  • Green onions and crumbled bacon for garnish

Here’s how to make it

  • Add all ingredients except heavy cream and shredded cheese.

  • Cook low for 6-8 hours until potatoes are done

  • When done, add heavy cream and 2 cups shredded cheese.

  • Garnish with crumbled bacon, cheese and green onions
