Ground General Tso’s Chicken

This 20 minute meal is perfect for weeknights when you are craving takeout! We loved the flavors of this!

This makes about 4 servings.

Notes: I made 1.5 times the amount of sauce and it was perfect. We served this over rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken

  • 8 ounces canned water chestnuts , diced

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger

  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

  • 2 cloves garlic minced

    General Tso’s Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 teaspoons hoisin sauce

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
