Love sloppy joes, but don’t love the “sloppiness” of them? Here you go! This recipe is a crowd pleaser and uses just a few ingredients!!

This recipe makes about 8-10 servings.

Notes for this recipe - I used the bold Manwich sauce because it’s our favorite! I also used a mixture of cheeses. I didn’t have any sesame seeds on hand so I omitted those and it was still great!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef

  • 15 oz can Manwich

  • 16 oz shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 (8 oz) cans crescent rolls

  • 1-2 tsp sesame seeds

  • 1-2 Tbsp butter, melted

Here’s how to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375 F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.

  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet and drain the grease.

  • Add the Manwich sauce and mix well. Season to taste.

  • Line the bottom of greased baking dish with one of the crescent roll sheets

  • Top with the meat mixture and then spread shredded cheese over the meat.

  • Lay the second crescent roll sheet on top of the cheese and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
