Crockpot Green Bean Casserole

My guys couldn’t stop talking about this creamy version of green bean casserole and they have requested I make it like this from now on!

This makes about 8 servings.

NOTES I made a smaller amount in the video, simply because we didn’t need as much for just our small family. The recipe listed below is for 8 servings.

*If you want to watch the video of this being made, this recipe starts at the 5:56 mark.

Our new favorite way to make green bean casserole.

Ingredients

  • 4-5 cans green beans, drained (I prefer the French-style, but you can use whatever cut you prefer)

  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic

  • ¾ cup half and half (or milk or heavy cream)

  • ¼ cup sour cream

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp each salt and pepper

  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, shredded

  • 6 oz. French fried onions

Here’s how to make it

  • Add all ingredients except for green beans and French fried onions.

  • Stir all ingredients until well mixed.

  • Add drained green beans and mix. (Feel free to mix in some French fried onions here if you like them mixed in.)

  • Cover and cook on low for 3 hours.

  • Top with onions and serve!
