Crockpot Green Bean Casserole
My guys couldn’t stop talking about this creamy version of green bean casserole and they have requested I make it like this from now on!
This makes about 8 servings.
NOTES I made a smaller amount in the video, simply because we didn’t need as much for just our small family. The recipe listed below is for 8 servings.
*If you want to watch the video of this being made, this recipe starts at the 5:56 mark.
Our new favorite way to make green bean casserole.
Ingredients
4-5 cans green beans, drained (I prefer the French-style, but you can use whatever cut you prefer)
2 cans cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic
¾ cup half and half (or milk or heavy cream)
¼ cup sour cream
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp each salt and pepper
½ cup parmesan cheese, shredded
6 oz. French fried onions
Here’s how to make it
Add all ingredients except for green beans and French fried onions.
Stir all ingredients until well mixed.
Add drained green beans and mix. (Feel free to mix in some French fried onions here if you like them mixed in.)
Cover and cook on low for 3 hours.
Top with onions and serve!
