Ultimate BLT Bowls

Jason’s Deli makes a GREAT BLT bowl and I just had to attempt to recreate it at home. It was really close!!

This makes about 4 servings.

NOTES I’ve gone back and had the Jason’s Deli one again and realized I forgot to add a hard-boiled egg. Also, I didn’t have a ripe avocado, but they serve theirs with avocado. DON’T SKIP the pickled red onions!

AMAZING light dinner!!

Ingredients

  • 1 large chicken breast, butterflied in half

  • seasonings for chicken (I used salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder & paprika)

  • 12-16 oz bacon, cooked and chopped

  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced

  • 1 cup shredded colby jack cheese

  • 1/2 cup pickled red onions

  • 1 large tomato, chopped

  • Romaine or green leaf lettuce, chopped

  • Ranch dressing

Here’s how to make it

  • Season chicken on both sides and cook until done. Allow to rest and then slice. (I used the air fryer to cook my chicken. 380 degrees F for 12-15 minutes)

  • Assemble salad with all the ingredients! It’s that easy! Top with Ranch dressing and enjoy!
