Betty Jo’s Cinnamon Ring

Need a great dish to bring to a brunch or to make for a crowd? This one is a winner! Patti (a subscriber) shared this recipe with me and I knew it was going to be delicious. It did NOT disappoint!

This makes about 20 servings.

Notes: I only used about 1.5 sticks of butter. I also only used about 4 oz of cream cheese.

Betty Jo’s Cinnamon Ring is so decadent and does NOT taste like canned biscuit dough! Recipe from Patti.

Ingredients

  • 2 (10 count) cans of Buttery Tastin’ Flaky Pillsbury Biscuits

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • cinnamon to taste

  • 2 sticks of butter, melted

  • 2 cups pecans, chopped

Here’s how to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Separate each biscuit and place a small amount of cream cheese in the middle and then pinch back to close.

  • Make an assembly line of bowls (big enough to dip each biscuit into) with the following: 1. melted butter 2. cinnamon sugar (made to your liking) 3. chopped pecans

  • Dip biscuits in order above and place into a bundt pan. Make sure to stand the biscuits on their sides like a wheel, do not lay down flat. This will be a tight fit.

  • Pour remaining ingredients from bowls over top of the dish.

  • Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. When it is done, dump immediately onto aluminum foil and separate or they will stick together.
