Everyone’s Favorite Meatloaf

 
 

If you don’t love meatloaf because of the tomato based ingredients, try this one! It does NOT disappoint!

This recipe makes about 6-8 servings.

Notes for this recipe - I used a pound of ground beef and a pound of meatloaf mix.

A meatloaf unlike any other!

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup, divided

  • 2 lbs meatloaf mix or ground beef

  • 1/2 cup fine breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg, slightly beaten

  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/3 cup water

  • 1-2 cloves fresh garlic, minced

  • 4-5 slices of regular bacon

Here’s how to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375 F.

  • Mix well 1/2 cup of soup, beef or meatloaf mix, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, salt and garlic.

  • Put into a meatloaf pan and layer bacon across top of the meatloaf so the entire top is covered.

  • Bake at 375 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cooked through.

  • In small saucepan, mix remaining soup, water and 2-3 Tbsp of drippings from the meatloaf over med. heat.

  • Serve as a gravy over your meatloaf!
