Quick Pesto Pasta Chicken Bake

I love a great pasta bake, especially one that uses just a few ingredients and comes together in just a few minutes.

This makes about 6 servings.

NOTES Keep an eye on this in the oven and take it out right when all the cheese has melted.

One of the quickest way to do a pasta bake is to use rotisserie chicken.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta (or whatever pasta you choose)

  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken

  • 1 small jar of pesto

  • 1-2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional

  • 1/4 cup fresh parmesan cheese, shredded

Here’s how to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Boil pasta according to package directions. (You want it al dente.) Drain, and pour into greased 8x8 casserole dish.

  • Add chicken, pesto and red pepper flakes. Mix well.

  • Top with shredded parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered for 15-20 minutes at 350.

  • Serve and enjoy!
