Unstuffed Cabbage Skillet
We are deconstructing stuffed cabbage in this one pan meal and it’s quick and easy and packs a punch with flavor!
This makes about 4 servings.
NOTES You can do ground beef if you’d prefer, but I would add a lot more seasonings if you go that route!

This is such a great take on stuffed cabbage!
Ingredients
1 pound sausage
1 (14.5 ounce) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
1 small onion, chopped
3 Tbsp tomato paste
1 Tbsp distilled white vinegar
1 tsp dark chili powder
½ tsp salt
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
4-5 cups shredded cabbage
Here’s how to make it
Heat a large skillet to med-high. Cook and crumble the sausage along with the chopped onions.
Once the sausage is done, drain the grease and return the sausage to the skillet.
Add all remaining ingredients to the skillet and mix well. Lower the heat to med-low and let cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once the cabbage has softened, taste and add seasonings as needed.
Serve and enjoy!
